Simplifying the Path to Neurodiversity Diagnosis
Neurodiversity is the belief that every person has their own special way of experiencing and interacting with the world, there’s no single ‘right’ way to think, learn, or act, and being different in these ways is not seen as a bad thing.
It’s all about recognizing and celebrating the beautiful diversity in how our brains work and how we navigate the world.
d-neuro is a not-for profile organisation run by volunteers, on a mission to support and raise awareness of neurodiverse conditions, many of which are hidden.

Our journey…
Navigating the intricate realm of neurodiversity, whether it’s for yourself or a loved one, can be a formidable adventure. I’ve embarked on this challenging journey for myself and my daughter, grappling with the initial steps that often feel like an overwhelming maze of information overload. Countless hours spent scouring the depths of the internet can leave you drained and, at times, disheartened.

However, in the midst of this labyrinth, I resolved to make a difference for those who will follow in our footsteps, and thus, d-neuro was born. This website represents a beacon of simplicity amid the complexity. I’ve painstakingly curated a treasure trove of resources, drawing from the most reputable sources in the UK. Within these digital pages, you’ll discover succinct summaries of various neurodiverse conditions, offering a guiding light on your quest for assistance.

It’s crucial to note that I am not a healthcare professional, and I take no credit for the invaluable content you’ll find here. Instead, I’ve gathered wisdom from esteemed UK charities and the NHS, ensuring that you have access to the most reliable information available. Many of these charitable organizations provide lifelines in the form of helplines and supportive forums, ready to accompany you and your family on your unique journey.
